Director Alon Daniel joins Kids Paris.
The story between Kids and Daniel goes back a few years, when they first teamed up on an XBOX film starring French international Théo Hernandez.
Since then, they have never really lost touch. Between holiday recommendations (Daniel lives in Milan and, no one knows the city better), birthday messages and the occasional check-in, one thing was always clear: they would work together again someday.
In the meantime, Daniel has been directing films all over the world for adidas, Levi’s, Birkenstock, Samsung, Off-White, Fred Perry, Woolrich and EL AL.
His thing? Sophisticated filmmaking that never feels distant, deeply human films grounded in real life, and a sharp sense of rhythm. Daniel is drawn to intimate stories where emotion takes centre stage, without ever overplaying it. And then there’s his humour, subtle, slightly offbeat and always perfectly judged, which has naturally led him towards more lifestyle-driven work and vignettes.
Which is just as well, because by welcoming Daniel to the roster, Kids is looking to push his work even further in that direction.
