Aesop’s A Time to Embrace takes us on a heartfelt journey with a mother and daughter as they travel home by train to spend the holidays with their family. 

Directed by Elena Heatherwick for Object & Animal, the film was shot on location in Slovenia.

For some, the holidays are a time of care; for others, a time of chaos. Aesop captures the beautiful nuances of both. Heatherwick seamlessly weaves together scenes of children playing in the snow and glittering late-night dances, keeping the senses engaged throughout. As the pair travel through the wintry landscape, they find warmth in their time together, cherishing the small moments along the way rather than rushing to the next destination.
