Creative technology company Splash Worldwide has announced the addition of May Rose Funtanilla as senior account manager for the company's office in Singapore.

Funtanilla's appointment was confirmed by Splash's regional business director for Asia Pacific, Herbert Ho. Funtanilla joins Splash from marketing and communications service provider Williams Lea Tag, where she began in 2011 as account manager and was soon promoted to senior account manager.

Over the course of seven years with the company, drawing on her previous experiences at agencies including Lowe Philippines, Catalytics and CreAds, she managed highly complex global and regional campaigns for many prestigious clients, including adidas, Hilton, P&G and Edrington, to name but a few.

"The progression of technology is inevitable, and this calls for the creative industry to adapt strategies to maximize that," Funtanilla said. "Splash Worldwide embraces advances in technology, understanding that creativity and technology must co-exist if brands are going to connect with consumers efficiently and effectively all around the globe. This is what attracted me to Splash Worldwide: I want to be part of a growing organization that is bold enough to unleash creativity with the power of technology."

Also an alumni of Williams Lea Tag – as well as marketing consultancy R3, Viacom International Media Networks, and agencies JWT, Ogilvy and Mather and The Filter Group – Ho helped launch Splash's Singapore operation in June, 2018. Existing to support the firm's global clientele within the Asia-Pacific region, Ho envisions the company's footprint in Asia expanding in the days to come.

"With her extensive account management experience and capabilities, May is a keystone of the expert team we now have available in Asia," said Ho. "Together, we are dedicated to unleashing the creativity of Splash's clients and partners worldwide."
