Directing duo Lamar+Nik have taken it upon themselves to create this odd but funny micro-short that deals with an infamous interview basketball coach and former professional player Ron Artest gave in 2011, not long after changing his name to Metta World Peace.
The interiewer, LA Times' Melissa Rohlin, asks Artest about his new name but the player ignores that question, instead riffing on the amazing foresight of God to make sure people lose their baby teeth when they're kids and not when they're "like, 30, or 20". The film reimagines the scene with an actor [Matthew Griffin] cast as a thoughful Artest in a strange, funny but also kind of touching short.
