The Chemical Brothers have reunited with Outsider directing duo Dom & Nic and the VFX wizards at The Mill London on their latest epic promo.
Eight months in the making, the video uses cutting-edge visual effects and motion capture technology to tell the story of a sentient android underclass freeing themselves through dance.
Blackly comic in tone, the promo opens on a security guard arriving at a factory, where he has to run the gauntlet of an angry mob of protesters. 'Jobs not bots!' their placards declare. Once inside the warehouse, he settles in for a long shift - blissfully unaware that the robot workers are emerging from their cardboard boxes, urged by a charismatic leader bot to 'set themselves free'. Before long, it's all turned into a damn good boogie...
