Nike Football: Awaken The Phantom

Nike Football has roped in an all-star cast including Neymar, Coutinho, De Bruyne, Ronaldinho, Mal Pugh and many more for this epic film promoting the new Phantom boot.

Matthew Vaughn (of Kingsman, Kick-Ass and Layer Cake fame) directs the story of a mysterious football player who plummets, Voldemort-like, into the stadium one night on a plume of smoke and, through word of mouth, becomes an urban legend of terrifying proportions. Who or what is it? How many legs does it have? Three? Four? Eight, like an octopus? "I never believed in monsters … until that night," shivers a defender.  

Alongside a who's-who of the footballing world, the two-and-a-half minute film features cameos from Nigerian rap star WizKid, his posse Legendury Beatz and Tiwa Savage.
