With mobile phone use while driving leading to an estimated 1.6 million collisions in the US each year, System1 Agency has created an emotional PSA aiming to change people’s attitudes and behaviours around the issue.

The agency, which uses behavioural science to inform its creative work, enlisted UNIT9 director duo, A Common Future, to tell the story of a new couple whose blossoming relationship is tragically cut short due to texting while driving. There's no narrative twist or fancy effects; in fact, you can see exactly where the film is heading from the opening scene, which is what makes it so horribly compelling - it's a question of when, not if.
