Ahead of the FIFA World Cup this summer, Mercado McCann has released a series of ads to get football fans excited before the season starts.

As this year's event is held in Russia, the ads will be released globally so all markets can join in the fun and take part in some pre-World Cup fandom.

We've highlighted our favourite ads from the series, Stock Up (above) and Ready For (below).

In Stock Up, we see various football fanatics kick themselves as they miss a truly momentous occasion in the match just to run to the shop and grab a much-needed can of coke. Moral of the story: stock your fridge before the game, you don't want to be caught short.

Whereas Ready For, looks at the care given to each can at production level. A manager treats each can as if it were a mentee, going on a great adventure and in need of fulfilling their lifelong mission.
