Maria Carretero has joined Framestore's global colour team and will be working with fellow colourist Edwin Metternich in the company's Chicago office.
Carretero's start in the art world came through painting, and since she made the transiton to a digital platform, her work on feature length films, short films, and commericals has taken her all around the world. She has graded spots for brands including Jeep, Disney, and Porsche.
"[Maria] is a true craftswoman, whose passion for painting, art and photography is reflected across every frame of her work," says Krystina Wilson, managing director at Framestore Chicago. "Maria joins Framestore with a loyal base of directors, cinematographers, editors and agency creatives – especially here in Chicago – who admire her talent and seek her partnership to elevate their visuals to the next level.
