Time to Change and Ford of Britain bring the 'elephant in the room' aspect of mental illness to life in this simple but effective film.

Created by GTB UK with support from Ford of Britain, the campaign started life as an entry into the Channel 4 Diversity in Advertising competition - which aims to bring non-visible disabilities to light in mainstream advertising - before being developed into a partnership with mental health charity Time to Change.

The TVC, directed by Jim Gilchrist through Outsider, encourages men – who are particularly susceptible, in the UK, to suffering mental illness in silence -  to take the first step in talking about their challenges, openly and without stigmatisation.
