Selfridges' resident director Kathryn Ferguson explores the concept of luxury through different viewpoints in this intriguing hybrid docu-short.
Commissioned for the retailer's Hot Air broadcasting platform, and produced through fledgling fashion production company, Lief, the film fuses in-depth interviews and poetry with beautifully designed visual metaphors. It focuses on three diverse creative talents - fashion designer Gareth Pugh; American performing artist, rapper and activist Mykki Blanco; and choreographer, director and artist Holly Blakey - and questions how they feel about the word on a personal and emotional level.
Find out more about Lief in our upcoming Fashion Special, issue #174.
