When it comes to rugby, sometimes the hardest part of the game is letting it go.

An homage to a college friend whose professional career in rugby is coming to an end, Ben Tedesco's spec spot for Guinness beautifully captures the depth of the emotional bonds between team-mates.

In the film, a light drizzle falls as a procession of men, equipped with a spade and a deflated rugby ball, make their sombre way through town, stopping to collect mourners along the way. A grave is dug; the rugby gear is buried; and a toast of the black stuff is raised - all in all, a fitting-send off for a retiring player. From the Gaelic folk music to the mistily evocative setting, the film is a worthy addition to the Guinness oeuvre.
