In the midst of all the #MeToo investigations, Grey London has created a fun and topical campaign to cut through the gender inequality of today.

For Christmas, the agency has rewritten classical hymns – known as Hyrrs – to make them relevant and catchy for modern day feminists.

Created in partnership with Goldstein Music, the Hyrrs: Festive Hymns Made Feminist campaign will raise money for women’s refuge, Refuge, with downloadable songs available on iTunes, Google Play and Amazon.

“From Weinstein and Westminster to salaries and sexism, 2017 has shown how appalling it can be for women,” says Grey’s Co-CCO, Vicki Maguire. That’s why we now want to make a statement about kicking everyday inequality in the baubles this Christmas, while raising money for an amazing cause that helps women.”

Although the campaign may seem light-hearted and comical, it's for a serious cause and is an attempt to reverse some of the ongoing body shaming, workplace inequality, sexism and harassment continually experienced by many women around the world.

Listen to the full hyrrs below, with lyrics to make it an easy sing-a-long experience. Or click through to the HyrrsNotHymns website for more info.
