Uber might be facing an uncertain future here in London, but the taxi-hailing app's push for worldwide domination continues with this first-ever brand purpose campaign for the Asian market.

In the new spot, created by Swedish agency Forsman & Bodenfors, cars are swopped for cardboard boxes which 'drivers' wear around their waists. With no space to 'park', road rage and tailbacks, the streets of Bangkok, where the film was shot, are soon flooded with boxes.

It's a humorous attempt to highlight a very real problem: according to research commissioned by the brand, drivers in Asia are stuck in congestion for 52 minutes every day, in addition to the 26 minutes they spend trying to find parking spots - a situation Uber claims it can help ease by offering an alternative to private car ownership.

The spot was directed by Adam Berg through Indio.
