Oxfam reveals the true cost of corporate tax avoidance in a hard-hitting new film, which likens the practice to carrying out a heist in a hospital.
Created by Don’t Panic and directed by Tom Green via Stink Films, the film follows a gang of masked men breaking into a hospital and stealing essential medical equipment, yanking IVs out of patients' arms and turning off a baby's life support machine in front of its horrifed mother.
It's a powerful way to convey the charity's message: that companies dodge a staggering £78bn in tax in poor countries every year - a third of which could cover the bill for essential healthcare and prevent the needless deaths of eight million mothers, babies and children.
