Dorfman signs to Dark Energy Films

London-based production company, Dark Energy Films, has signed multi-award-winning US director Lenny Dorfman to its UK roster.

Dorfman has carved a name for himself thanks to his ability to deliver emotionally-charged and visually-compelling narratives. Throughout his career, he has been awarded at Cannes, D&AD and the AICP/MOMA, among other award shows. Dorfman had his first break in documentaries, when he conceived and directed the pilot documentary series, Iconoclast. Since then he has ventured into TV, helming the comedy short, Bring Back the Cat pilot, and worked in football advertising – including the EAT, SLEEP, DRINK FOOTBALL campaign for Coca Cola and the Zenidine Zidane Film for the 2022 FIFA World Cup bid. On top of this, he has also produced work for other leading clients such as Nike, Vodafone and Guinness, among others.
