American rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer, Logic, has released this powerful new video directed by Andy Hines.
Entitled 1-800-273-8255 (the number for the US National Suicide Prevention Lifeline), it tells the story of a gay teenager whose father, played by Don Cheadle, struggles to comes to terms with his son's sexuality.
Produced by Black Dog Films and London Ally, the promo also stars Coy Stewart, playing the conflicted young man, Matthew Modine, Luiz Guzman, Nolan Gould and the musicians themselves. The film tackles the sensitive and often unspoken subjects of acceptance and, ultimately, suicide in a thoughtful and inspiring way.
