This visually arresting spot for Dolby from Hornet director Gabe Askew is an enigma.
No matter how many times you watch it, you will become engrossed by the seemingly random but mesmerising visuals that fall into each other like the beads in a kaleidoscope.
As the fourth and final film in a series commissioned by Dolby Labs to promote their San Francisco gallery, Askew adapted the theme of memory to create a visual interpretation for the brain's ability to retain information - and in this specific case, remembering the birth of the director's daughter, Lily.
