'I mean, that robot is a pretty good piece of CGI' you're thinking to yourself. Wrong. That's a real AI robot, created by Hanson Robotics in Hong Kong. The ad, for the BBC Earth's upcoming Being Human series (no, not that one with the werewolf, a ghost and a vampire sharing a flat), directed by Flare BBDO's Chris Thomas, begins with a view of the back of Sophia's head, with the various components of her brain whirring.

The camera pans around as she talks about her artificial life, mentioning how she watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate is unable to feel emotions despite being able to replicate them.
