TK Maxx: Ridiculous Possibilities
Wieden + Kennedy London ask 'why would anyone shop at TK Maxx?'
Wieden + Kennedy London ask 'why would anyone shop at TK Maxx?'
...well, technically Bill Nighy says it, with the actors sonorous tones providing a voiceover for the ad, directed by Adam & Dave of Bold.
"It's a little haphazard in there," says the Love Actually actor, before qualifying an ad of hating on TK Maxx by calling its drawbacks "the small prices you pay for the small prices you pay." Although honestly Nighy's voice is so smooth he could accusing our mothers of various lewd acts with a variety of barnyard creatures and it would still sound like a compliment.
This is all accompanied by a selection of whimsical visuals that are about as random as the average selection at one of TK Maxx's fine stores.
