Indian mattress brand Kurl-On tell the tale of a man who might like football that little bit too much in an ad created by Bangalore agency MullenLowe Lintas.
In Soccer, directed by Karan Shetty of Fingerprint Films, a voice-over from Bollywood actor Rajesh Sharma tells us that ‘Bachelor Charan would bounce with excitement on every goal’, as Charan’s friends look on in amusement as he bounces up and down. Cut forward in time, however, and the voice-over tells him ‘boss, some things change after marriage’ as his wife barely tolerates her husband’s bed squeaks. Which isn’t a euphemism.
Luckily, Kurl-On mattresses have what Sharma calls ‘Kurlopedic technology, so body movement on one side does not disturb the other’.
The ad is one of two created by the agency to showcase this new technology. In Yoga, which you can see below, a woman’s poor attempts at yoga leave her with back problems her mattresses just cannot help:
