Mackenzie is a Ruffian

Los Angeles-based production company Ruffian has signed British Oscar-nominated film director David Mackenzie for US representation. Mackenzie joins following his first Oscar nomination for Best Picture for his neo-western heist-drama, Hell or High Water, which will be announced at the 89th Academy Awards later this month. The film was released to universal acclaim last summer, quickly receiving six nominations at the Critics' Choice Awards - including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Supporting Actor for Bridges and Foster, Best Acting Ensemble and Best Original Screenplay.
