Created by Polish agency Bardzo, this beautiful film for Allegro (Poland’s version of Amazon) celebrates families – and different nationalities – coming together at Christmas.
Directed with elegance and subtle humour by Social Club’s Jesper Ericstam, this moving tale relates the story of a Polish gentleman of mature years who uses Allegro’s speedy delivery service to buy language teaching aids so he can learn English in a hurry. Touchingly portraying his loneliness – he only has his dog and his rubber duck to practice talking to – the film draws you in as you long to discover his final goal.
We won’t say – you’ll have to watch it; but it packs an emotional punch despite its gentle touch.
