Would you trust a robot to look after your loved ones?

In a new spot from CLM BBDO, this theory is put to the test for French-based charity the Society of Saint Vincent De Paul (SSVP), which aims to reinvigorate people living alone or in underprivileged situations.

Helmed by David Wilson, B.E.N. - aka Bionically Engineered Nursing - sees an elderly women being cared for by her live-in robot.

Administering hugs, cleaning the dishes and even waking her up in the morning, there's nothing the robot can't do.

Although the ad is seemingly inspired by the 2012 film, Robot & Frank, such a robot doesn't actually exist. Instead, the spot is a call for volunteers to lend their services and help overcome loneliness in society.
