JWT has joined forces with Computers 4 Africa - a charity that reconditions old computers and sends them to Africa to be used in hospitals and schools - to create this entertaining spot.
Directed by JWT CD, Miles Bingham, the film sees a Black Mirror-esque laptop break free from its monotonous life of tedious social media updates and tabloid stories to head to Africa, where it can be used to its full potential. Thankfully, the computer is a little more R2-D2 and a little less Skynet.
Computers 4 Africa has already made an incredible impact on the lives of African communities and children since its inception in 2004. In fact, 1.8 million children have benefited from the computers provided by the organisation.
