Michel Gondry has helmed this beautifully-simple new video for The White Stripes, unbeknownst to the band.

The video, which was made by Gondry without anyone's knowledge and then gifted to the band, sees the famed director step inside a steamed up shower where the lyrics to City Lights become animated on the condensataion.

The video marks Gondry's fifth visual collaboration with The White Stripes and is the first new, worldwide commercially-released song by The White Stripes since 2008.
