Feel Good Lost, the working name of Irish director/artist Brendan Canty, has created a scrumptious promo for the Talos track, Your Love Is An Island. Musing on a couple’s relationship, it perfectly matches the plaintive vocals to a mesmerising flow of slow-dissolving images with paradoxical themes – fire and water, tender love among ugly debris – and the wind in the hair of a pale-skinned beauty by the sea.
As the music intensifies, the visuals build to a pleasing crescendo, with billowing clouds of indigo smoke and a burning car, before finally coming to rest – as the couple appear to resolve their mysterious issues – with a peaceful moon rising over the sea. Oh the romance.
