Captain Obvious Puckers Up
Hotels.com spokesman continues his presidential campaign in this amusing stunt.
Since Captain Obvious - the comedic spokesman for online accommodation booking site Hotels.com - threw his hat into the ring for the US presidential election in February, his political antics have resulted in over 60 million views of his signature GIFs, more than 250,000 website visits, and a 900 per cent increase of social media mentions with many pledging their vote.
Now the character brings his signature style to poking fun at one of the cornerstones of every hopeful candidate’s campaign - kissing babies. Featuring a mobile and desktop experience, parents are encouraged to hold their little ones close to the screen to be kissed without ever having to attend a political event.
