Curiously named Where Is Brian? (answer: he’s in the kitchen…), the new food-focussed arm of French production company Quad has taken on a mouthwatering international roster of directors from various culinary backgrounds, who'll be experimenting with ingredients, textures and macro film techniques.
This list of talents includes the Parisian duo Foodfilm (responsible for M&S, Adventures in Britishness), Spanish multidisciplinary visual artist Alberto Arellano, US duo Tiger in a Jar and German film and VFX experts The Marmalade, who’ve pioneered a method of high-speed camera motion control called Spike.
Amélie Couvelaire will be EP of the new culinary escapade, having moved over from Quad's animation studio WIZZ.
