MEC launches start-up competition
Three digital and tech start-ups could win a 3-month residency at MEC.
MEC Wavemaker, the Manchester division of MEC, has launched a UK competition to give digital and tech start-ups the chance to secure a commercial partnership with the agency and some of its leading clients.
The competition is offering three start-up companies a three-month residency at the agency’s office, complete with business mentorship, brand and client exposure in a bid to accelerate their rate of progression.
To enter, start-ups can download an application form – available here – and explain why they think they are eligible for this opportunity. All entries should be sent to Hannah Blake.
Six semi-finalists will be selected and brought to the search, analytics and social media conference, SAScon, where they will be required to pitch their ideas to a panel led by MEC’s execs and some of the event’s sponsors from which three winners will be chosen.
