Pizza deliveries are a quick fix for lazy days, when you don’t feel like cooking or you’re hungover and need reviving.

But getting a pizza delivered is never considered an ethical action, right?

East London-based pizza start-up Sodo is challenging our preconceptions with a new campaign from TBWA.

Concerned about the culture surrounding fast-food production and its often polluting-touting delivery, the ethical pizzeria decided to create an alternative.

Although the pizzas are delicious and healthy - as they use locally-sourced ingredients - Sodo doesn’t usually delivery its products... As a stand against unnecessarily polluting the environment.

So, they have created a monthly way to deliver their pizzas ethically… a delivery running service.

Sodo teamed up with a local running club and documented the runs via Periscope – so callers could choose their runners and track their order.

All proceeds raised were donated to running community, Run Dem Crew, and the initiative has helped to support local business in the area.

Now, you don’t have to feel guilty when ordering a pizza.
