On 7 February TV screens around the world will be tuned in to one of the biggest sporting events on the planet, Super Bowl 50.

The Big Game will be held this year at the Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, the home stadium of the San Francisco 49ers and will see the two best teams of the year clash for the ultimate sporting prize.

The competition, however, isn’t just fought on the pitch as advertisers compete for the biggest and best spot to air during the game. And it isn’t just about who has the deepest pockets as Doritos returns for the final year with its annual Crash the Super Bowl contest, a competition inviting anyone to enter a 30-second spot for a chance to have their work featured.

The three finalists, Ultrasound (by Peter Carstairs), Doritos Dogs (by Jacob Chase) and Swipe for Doritos (by David Rudy) were selected from over 4,500 submissions in 28 countries. The winner of the epic competition, decided by a public vote, will be awarded $1 million and a chance to work with Hollywood director Zack Snyder, DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. The runners up will both be awarded $100,000 each.

Voting is now open at Crash the Super Bowl and the winner will be announced on Sunday 7 February.
