Prostitution is an issue that affects cities around the world and yet, often it seems like there is little in place to help combat the problem.
Bristol-based charity One25 together with M&C Saatchi has responded to these facts and created a new campaign to turn preconceived ideas about prostitution on its head.
The Christmas campaign was created to raise awareness of street sex work in the UK, to dispel any myths around sex work and to humanise the women involved.
Featuring stories from two different women, the ad uses red-hued street visuals to accompany their experiences.
While the campaign, helmed by Alvaro Ramirez, primarily works to encourage online donations to the charity, One25 also plans on working with local businesses in the future to put green light bulbs on shop fronts when they're closed - to create a safer real-life Green Light District.
The charity predicts that 150 women are currently working on Bristol's streets although it's hoped that the campaign will help to reduce this number. Last year, 55 women were supported and able to leave street work for good.
