If you live in a city and are a frequent cyclist, then you must enter Brompton's My Unseen City competition.

Celebrated film director Guy Ritchie – who is a Brompton rider – has lent his skills to join a star-studded jury panel and oversee bike-inspired film entries. The remaining panellists include Brompton owners: president/MD of Warner Bros UK Josh Berger, producer Lionel Wigram and Brompton CEO Will Butler-Adams.

#MyUnseenCity commemorates the second release of Brompton’s Black Edition model (below) – which was inspired by late-night city riders.

The competition challenges cyclists to create a 15 second film of their city about their city’s hidden treasures that can only be seen by bike and at night.

To enter, budding filmmakers must have an Instagram account and should use the competition’s hashtag. Winners will be selected at the end of March 2016 and all entries will be uploaded onto Instagram as well as Brompton’s web page and Facebook page.

The winner and two runners up will receive the special edition bike that inspired the competition, while the winner will also win a trip to London and an opportunity to participate at London’s Brompton World Championships next year. The winning entry will be screened at the brand’s ten flagship stores and online.

“We look forward to seeing the creativity of our Bromptoneers worldwide as they shine a light on unseen sides of our cities from across the world,” says Butler-Adams.
