San Francisco-based advertising agency gyro has announced the appointment of Ronny Northrop as executive creative director. In his new role Northrop will work alongside president Drew Meyers in continuing to drive the agency forward. Northrop arrives at gyro from Y&R California, where he served as chief creative officer and won the pitch to launch the global Microsoft Enterprise Cloud campaign. He has also worked with clients including Blue Diamond Almonds, Clif Bar Family Foundation, Sandisk, Crystal Cruise Lines and Citrix.
