BBH Los Angeles, Google Play and California Sunday Magazine have once again teamed up to create a beautiful animated story which focusses on comedian, musician and LA native, Reggie Watts.

The California Inspires Me series has, so far, given us stories from Brian Wilson, Kim Gordon and Mark Mothersbaugh, and each one celebrates how the state of California has shaped and influenced the careers of successful artists.

And talking of celebrating people, and of BBH LA, the next issue of shots magazine, issue 158, is our annual guest edited edition and it just so happens BBH LA, under the editorship of ECD Pelle Sjoenell, is taking the helm.

The focus of the issue is Unsung Heroes and, without wanting to give too much away, the magazine will feature insight, information and inspiration from a variety of commercial and filmmaking disciplines which might otherwise be overlooked.

From stunt men and women [a sneak peek of which is above] to make-up artists, lighting designers to caterers, the issue will thrust these people to centre stage and illuminate us as to how and why what they do shouldn't be kept in the shadows.

Issue 158 of shots will be available to subscribers from July 29. To subscribe to shots, please click here.
