V05's new caign by Havas Worldwide London looks at the importance of hair and hairstyle to daily life.

What does your hair say about you? The latest caign by Havas Worldwide London for V05 tackles this popular conundrum with a clever two-part mirror ad.

Using the same actor to play both protagonists, director Rob Leggatt of Knucklehead succeeds in advertising two different hair products by capturing the essence of the brand's tagline; to 'break the mould.'

In 'The General' spot, a young Latin-American general gets a car to a neighbouring village, when he fleetingly crosses a pick-up truck carrying a similar looking young peasant boy. The two lock eyes and are inspired by the other's hairdo... and lifestyle. After visiting a mystical elderly man, who supplies each protagonist with their choice of hair product, they morphe into their desired selves.

'The Peasant' is a similarly structured ad from the peasant's perspective.
