Audi RS 3 Sportback: Born Restless

The new sporty Audi RS3 Sportback makes a name for its self as the restless adventurous model, thanks to BBH.

Sporty cars are known for racer-like qualities and sense of adventure. It’s no wonder that BBH took this idea one step further with its pioneering video for the new Audi RS 3 Sportback.

The ad aired yesterday, appropriately during England’s victorious Euro 2016 qualifier versus Slovenia match.

Director Sam Pilling shot the main TV commercial (at the top of the page) and extended content personifying the car and continuing the restless energetic theme, D.A.R.Y.L directed the further content to support the campaign. The initial ad shows the Audi buckled in with restraints, which it furiously tries to shakes free.

Viewers can track the car’s journey by searching RS3 – either on the Audi site or on its Youtube channel  – where three films show the car enjoying different challenges and landscapes.

“The beautifully created, arresting films perfectly capture the turbo-charged thrill of being behind its wheel," said Nick Ratcliffe, marketing head at Audi UK.

The Audi RS3 Sportback ventures onto the beach and races a speedboat, into the forest to rally the iconic 1983 Audi Sport Quattro and onto an ice rink to compete with an ice hockey team.
