ENVY relives the 90s with Chris Evans & TFI Friday

It’s Thursday. But it’s almost Friday, which used to mean one thing – Chris Evans’ TFI Friday show on Channel4. Which is back for a one-off revival episode tomorrow night that will feature new and old footage. Tune in to laugh with Evans. Or failing that, tune in to laugh at him… But first, watch ENVY's new clips to promote the show.

The phrase ‘TGI Friday’ is now mostly associated with the American-themed restaurant. But all that is set to change, as Chris Evans returns to our screens for a one-off revival of his 90s show under the similar name - TFI Friday.

This Friday - 12 June - ENVY together with Evans will screen a special 90-minute throwback to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the show… although it actually falls next year. But Chris Evans hopes that no one will notice.

The popular Channel4 show ran between 1996 and 2000 and featured several comedy bits which will reappear in Friday’s episode. These include the Ocean Colour Scene theme tune and Freak or Unique.

Co-stars Danny Baker and Will ‘ Wiiiil’ Macdonald will also return to face the camera. And famous faces – Liam Gallagher, Blur the Stone Roses and Rudimental – will make guest appearances.

The episode will use new and old footage to create 16 promos, new vox pops and various stings to bring back the 90s and relive the memories. Not one to be missed!
