SoundCloud Waves Make First Participative Promo
The Greek and VRV make innovative video with comments from free music streaming platform.
The two French artists The Geek x VRV have revealed a unique new music project called Waves, released on the On and On record label and made entirely with comments from SoundCloud.
The song has been posted on the free music streaming platform and a dedicated website whereby the band has been able to gather more than 400 comments.
Using SoundCloud viral power, each second and comment of the track were shot by digital film company KILLDEATH (of Fred & Farid Group) through more than 200 creative sequences using paper, animation, and craft of various objects such as clothes, toys, food or even themselves in some scenes. It all came together to turn the music video into the first clip ever made entirely with SoundCloud comments.
