DDB Madrid teamed up with Spanish production company Garlic to deliver a resistant campaign against the Spanish government and its recent law imposed to ban nearby public protesting.

The powerful, yet eerie, virtual protest was conducted with activists We Are Not A Crime to fight back against the ominous law enforced by the conservative governement in December 2014.

The execution took place on 10 April when almost 18,000 people protested in front of Spanish Parliament to get their point across to the powers that be in the form of holograms.

The campaign is an example of how brands, agencies and organisations can use tech in new and innovative ways to better the world and promote freedom of expression and ideas.
