BBDO Dubai's Black Cat Lottery Campaign
Agency brings the luck back to the country with this funny campaign for the Lebanese lottery.

powered byLike most other countries around the world Lebanon believes that black cats bring bad luck. To encourage people to play the Lebanese lottery, BBDO Dubai created this campaign to make the locals feel luckier.
The campaign kicked off with a nationwide search through press and outdoor media asking people to report any black cats they saw. Crews were then sent out to the various locations to 'cat-a-logue' the creatures and round them up.
The cats were then sent off to New Zealand, one of only four countries (Japan, Great Britain and Ireland being the others) to believe the animals bring good luck for a relaxing break before being returned home.
The campaign was launched on National TV during the lottery draw on 20 April 2015 and was supported on social media using the hashtag #BlackCatsOnHoliday.
