Last year Swedish internet service provider Umeå Energi teamed up with advertising agency ANR BBDO to see how well people could cope with internet lag in their everyday lives. Now the brand is back with a new experiement to test the patience of a new crop of users.

Personnel from high pressure professions were gathered and invited to play a game and during the sessions the lag levels were played with causing amusing scenes.

Using Emotiv EPOC headsets that measured stress and frustration levels, players were told to stay calm or else the lag would increase and further disrupt the gameplay.

The result was that of the participants none coped with the challenge. Among the top scorers were firefighter Johan Törnqvist,  pastor Gustav Jannerland and bartender Mia Waldenstedt.
