In the run-up to Ireland’s marriage equality referendum - set to take place on 22 May 2015 - Dublin-based agency Rothco has come up with a radical recycling initiative in support of the 'Yes' movement.

The 'Shred of Decency' campaign sees negative, misleading and dishonest propaganda distributed by the 'No' movement (sample: “Homosexuals will contract cancers earlier in life”) collected and shredded into heart-shaped confetti. The resulting confetti will then be sold online as well as in a local stationery store, Daintree, with all profits going to support the 'Yes' camp.

The project also features a short film co-created by Piranha Bar, encouraging supporters to share photos of themselves showering themselves and their partners in confetti on social media, using the hashtag #shredofdecency.
