Ballantine’s Stays True with World's Biggest GIF

After a year in planning globally renowned artist INSA, Ballentine's whisky and M&C Saatchi Sports & Entertainment have pulled off a first with the world’s largest animated GIF and proved it by capturing the image from space.

Created as part of the brand's Stay True campaign the company teamed up with artist INSA, known for combining graffiti and GIF animation to create GIF-ITI.

The giant animated artwork – the most ambitious of its kind ever attempted – was painted on the ground in four stages over four days and measured a total of 57,515m squared. The images, inspired by INSA’s iconic Looking For Love motive were then captured by a satellite orbiting 431 miles above the planet before being converted into the final product.
