Coke Shares a Cold One with Singapore
Ogilvy & Mather brings the people of Lapland and Singapore together via a unique Christmas campaign.
Coca-Cola has brought the true spirit of Christmas to Singapore through a new campaign which sees the cold climate of Lapland replicated in Asia.
The campaign, #shareawhitechristmas, features falling snow outside the Santa Christmas Village at Raffles City, bringing the weather from Lapland and the magic of Christmas to Singaporeans – who experience temperatures of up to 30 degrees all year round.
Officially launched last week (19 December), the case video (below) shows Finns and Singaporeans forging new friendships through giving and receiving in the spirit of Christmas.
Commenting on the campaign, Pratik Thakar, ASEAN and APAC head of content and design excellence at the Coca-Cola Company, says:
“This spectacular video brings to life one of the most exciting parts of the festive season, even in the warm climate of Singapore. It’s not just about snow from Finland being brought to Singapore, but also about strangers from around the world engaging in the true spirit of giving. This is what Coca-Cola is all about – sharing happiness.”
