Following on from the recent social unrest Ferguson Missouri this powerful PSA highlights the frequent unjust treatment of African-American youths at the hands of police officers and the stop and frisk police policies in New York City.

Created by Saatchi & Saatchi New York the piece sees African-American parents remind their children to be careful when around police officers, while in contrast a Caucasian father reminds his child to reach out to the police if ever scared.

Produced by Aero Film and helmed by ECD Peter Moore Smith, the film aims to engage the public in a positive national discussion about race and equal treatment under the law.

Saatchi created the spot for The Brotherhood/Sister Sol, a foundation offering support to Africans and Latin Americans.

The film is supported by a dedicated website and a hashtag  #talkaboutthetalk.
