Rogue director Sam Brown takes the reins on this entertaining musical spot from Leo Burnett London that sees a group of forgotten toys come to life.
Set to the Foreigner’s classic, I Want To Know What Love Is, the film takes us to the scene after a jumble sale where the motley crew of well-used figures, ornaments and stuffed animals have failed to find a new home.
“This campaign follows our much-loved tadpoles and cat and budgie ads. We’re introducing new characters but the ad is just as surprising and effective at demonstrating the joy of having free entertainment," says Owen Jenkinson, Freeview’s head of marketing.
“Indeed, with 95 per cent of the nation’s favourite TV programmes available on Freeview, it encourages consumers to question whether they need to pay for TV when they can get great quality and variety content subscription-free.”
