My shots Monday: Iconic Advertising
After Lobo São Paulo launched a new promo for D&AD here we look at the spots that are celebrated in the work.
After a video was released to belatedly mark 50 years of the D&AD (celebrated in 2012) and to launch the call for entries for next year’s Professional Awards, the promo had us thinking about all classic campaigns that feature within the 90 seconds.
The brief to Lobo São Paulo was to simply bring into focus the history of the festival and the studio chose to reference memorable moments of past winning work at the D&AD Awards over the years. Below is a run through of the six main commercials that are referenced within the 90 seconds within the surreal dreamlike sequence titled Wish You Were Here?
