Ciclope 2014 Winners Announced
Fifty three campaigns recognised and four awarded Grand Prix at fifth edition of Ciclope Festival.
After two days of celebration and networking, the fifth edition of Ciclope Festival came to a close on Friday (7 November), with an awards ceremony held at the Babylon cinema, in the heart of Berlin.
During the event, 53 entries were rewarded and four of them won a Grand Prix: Adventure Awaits by Blinkink, The Bear and the Hare by Blinkink and Hornet Inc., Happy by Iconoclast and Iron Sky by Somesuch & Co.
Ciclope Festival 2014 was a success with more than 800 entries, 600 and more than 100 people taking part in the networking activities Fresh Market and Service Market. The festival no longer gives out bronze, silver and gold medals, but it curates a collection of the very best in each category.
“We are really proud of the way the festival has grown in the last few years”, says Francisco Condorelli, founder and executive director of Ciclope. “Not only because of the statistics, but also because we managed to gather works and people from countries that, until now, didn’t participate in the festival, such as Australia, Russia, China, New Zealand or Japan. Anyway, we now want to focus on the content and the quality of the event, rather than keep expanding on the number of guests and delegates.”
